Since our founding in 2018, Glowing Partner has been dedicated to bridging the gap between talented foreign professionals and Japanese companies. Our mission is to support the globalization of businesses in Japan while creating meaningful career opportunities for highly skilled foreign nationals.

THE IDEA BEHIND GLOWING PARTNER

The inspiration behind this journey began when I was given an opportunity to launch a foreign talent recruitment business after my first independent venture ended in failure. At the time, I was willing to take on any challenge, but as I immersed myself in the field, I discovered a significant disconnect between the perception of foreign talent in Japan and the reality of their skills and motivation. Recognizing this gap as a lost opportunity for Japanese companies, I felt a strong sense of responsibility to drive change and foster a more inclusive and globally competitive workforce.

My professional philosophy is rooted in the belief that "opportunities come through people." I am committed to building long-term relationships with every individual I encounter, always asking myself, "How can I help this person? What can I do to make a difference?" This mindset has shaped the way we operate at Glowing Partner.

Interestingly, my career began as a pesticide researcher—a role that offered limited direct interaction with people. In an effort to create meaningful connections, I started organizing matchmaking events. This experience taught me the power of introducing individuals to new opportunities, which ultimately became the foundation of my passion for foreign talent recruitment.

At Glowing Partner, we firmly believe that integrating skilled foreign professionals into Japanese businesses does more than just filling job vacancies—it creates a cycle of innovation and opportunity. While Japan’s traditional hiring practices still favor domestic candidates, an increasing number of forward-thinking companies are proactively welcoming international talent, recognizing the value they bring in a rapidly evolving global market.
